A Little About Me

I like understanding
how things work.

My work has taken me through banking, consulting, public health and technology. The details change, but I keep returning to questions about people, decisions and how an idea gets put into use.

From Nigeria to the Bay Area.

I grew up in Nigeria and studied Mass Communication at Covenant University. I began my career at Sterling Bank, then moved into consulting at Bain & Company.

At the Clinton Health Access Initiative, I worked on digitisation and learning for health workers. The role brought together government partners, programme teams and the practical realities of delivering services. It gave me a lasting interest in how technology can support access to knowledge and better decisions.

I completed my MBA at Harvard Business School in 2024. During that time, I explored media, investment and new technology through coursework and work with teams at Intuit and Peacock.

I now work in strategy and operations at YouTube. Alongside that work, I’m building my understanding of AI and sharing what I learn through Learn with Q.

There are usually books involved.

I’ve written about African books, reflected on the stories I grew up watching and studied the business of music and entertainment. Those interests sit alongside my work in technology. I’m interested in the people who create things, the audiences they reach and the businesses that make that possible.

More recently, I’ve been writing about the business of AI and creativity in Notes on Entertainment Futures.
